Dripify does one thing well: it makes LinkedIn drip sequences easy to build and cheap to run. Nothing here says it is a bad product. The disagreement is about what "personalisation" means when the tool offers twenty merge variables and an AI icebreaker.

How the AI writes
No generative writing documented. Outreach described as multichannel campaign animation.
Positioning
All-in-one omnichannel acquisition platform with a bundled B2B contact database.
Twenty variables is still a template
Dripify gives you up to twenty merge fields plus an AI-generated opening line. The rest of the message, meaning the argument, the proof and the ask, is written once and reused for everyone in the campaign. That is fine when your segment is tight and your offer is single. It stops working the moment two prospects in the same list need a different reason to care.
Spruce writes the whole message per prospect, first line included.
No gate before the invitation
Whatever is in your Dripify campaign gets contacted. Filtering happened upstream, in your Sales Navigator search, so it filtered on job title and company size: the two things everyone filters on, and the two that predict fit least well.
Spruce reads each profile after import and before sending, and drops the ones that do not match the personas you described.
One campaign per segment
Dripify's model asks you to split your market into segments and build a campaign for each. Applied to outreach, that means every offer change is a change in every campaign. Spruce has no campaigns: you describe who you sell to and what you sell, and each prospect is handled individually against that brief.
Price
Dripify starts at $59 per user per month, which is genuinely the cheapest credible entry point in the category alongside Waalaxy. If budget is the binding constraint, that matters more than anything on this page.
Which to choose
One clear segment, one offer and a tight budget point to Dripify. If you are running several personas, if the offer keeps moving, or if reply rates fell as you scaled the same template, that is where Spruce earns its price.
Side by side
| Spruce | Dripify | |
|---|---|---|
| Connection requests included | 800 per month, on every plan. | 20 connection requests a day on Basic, 75 a day on Pro and Advanced. The cap comes from the tool and depends on the plan. No monthly figure is published. |
| Qualification before the invitation | Every profile is scored against the personas you declared. Profiles that do not match are dropped before the invitation goes out. | No scoring step before the invitation. You feed a search or a list into a campaign and the campaign runs on it. |
| Who writes the message | Each message is generated for that one prospect, from their profile. | You write the templates. Variables handle the name, the company and the job title. |
| Follow-ups | Also generated per prospect, inside the sequence you configured. | Steps in the drip campaign, sent on conditions and delays you set. |
| Campaigns to build and maintain | None. There is no campaign object in Spruce. | Yes. The campaign is the object you build, fill and keep running. |
| Sending behaviour | Paced over the working hours you define, and public holidays are skipped. | Activity is spread through the day, inside the daily limit of your plan. |
| Several LinkedIn accounts | Through linked Spruce accounts. It is not many accounts run from one workspace. | One seat per LinkedIn account, billed per user. |
| After the reply | Manual setting on Essentiel. From Professionnel upwards, AI setting carries the conversation through to the booked meeting, then you close. | Replies show up in Dripify's inbox and the conversation is yours to run. |
| Choosing between tools | We publish this page and a handful of others. | Dripify wins here. Their side-by-side comparisons are among the clearest in the category and are worth reading even if you end up buying something else. |
| Price | Essentiel 149€ per user per month, or 124€ per month billed annually (two months free). Professionnel 249€. Accompagnement 499€. | Basic $59 per user per month, $39 billed annually. Pro $79, or $59 annually. Advanced $99, or $79 annually. Enterprise on quote. Dripify is far cheaper than Spruce, and that is simply true. |
Dripify figures are taken from their public pricing page. If you are reading this more than a quarter after publication, check them yourself.
Where they are strong
- The cheapest entry point in the category among the credible options
- An exemplary comparison silo of nine well-linked pages, worth studying as a template
- Quick to learn
Where they fall short
- Personalisation goes as far as 20 merge variables plus an AI icebreaker, which is not generative writing
- There is no qualification at profile level
- One campaign per segment, and all the maintenance that implies
Our verdict
Dripify is a good cheap sequencer and a well-run company. If your outreach problem is "I need to send follow-ups reliably", it solves it. If the problem is that the messages all sound the same and the good prospects are ignoring you, swapping sequencer will not fix it.
Frequently asked
Dripify costs a fraction of Spruce. Why would I pay more?
Dripify is cheaper and there is no way around that. What you get for the difference is the work: Spruce scores every profile against your personas before the invitation, writes each message from that person's profile, and generates the follow-ups the same way. In Dripify, the targeting and the copy are yours to produce and maintain.
If you have someone who enjoys building campaigns and writing templates, Dripify at $39 to $79 a month is very good value. If nobody has the time, the gap in price buys back the hours.
How do the invitation volumes compare?
Spruce includes 800 connection requests a month on every plan. Dripify caps them per day, and the cap depends on the plan: 20 a day on Basic, 75 a day on Pro and Advanced. They do not publish a monthly figure.
Neither tool changes what LinkedIn allows. LinkedIn enforces its own limits on top of both, so the real ceiling is the same for everyone.
Dripify automates messages too. Is that not the same as your AI?
Dripify automates the sending. The words are the ones you typed into the template, with variables swapped in.
Spruce generates the words themselves, per prospect, from the profile, and the follow-ups along with them. The difference shows up in what a prospect actually reads, not in the flow chart.
We use Dripify today. How hard is it to move?
There is nothing to rebuild, because Spruce has no campaigns. You describe the personas you want to reach, set the working hours, connect the LinkedIn account, and it starts qualifying and writing.
Your Dripify templates are not needed. If you are attached to a line that works, tell Spruce what you want said and it will take that into account.
When is Dripify still the better choice?
When budget is the constraint. At $39 a user a month on the annual Basic plan, Dripify is a working LinkedIn automation tool for a price Spruce will not match, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
Also when you want simple, predictable drip sequences that you control down to the word, with no model deciding what gets sent. That is a legitimate preference and Dripify serves it well.
