Versus

Spruce vs Linxa

Linxa is the closest thing to Spruce on the market. Per-profile gating before the invitation, matching to the right offer, generated follow-ups: that is nearly our own description of ourselves. Their Outreach plan also sells multi-step AI outreach campaigns, so this is not a case of one product having campaigns and the other not. Pretending otherwise would insult anyone comparing the two seriously, so here are the actual differences.

How the AI writes

No generative writing documented. Outreach described as multichannel campaign animation.

Positioning

All-in-one omnichannel acquisition platform with a bundled B2B contact database.

Matching to a service versus matching to a persona

Linxa maps a prospect to one of your services. Spruce maps to a persona brief: who they are, what they are responsible for, what they are likely to care about, and which of your offers follows from that. The distinction matters when the same service is sold differently to a founder and to a head of operations, where the offer is identical but the reason to care is not.

Multi-persona briefs

Most teams sell more than one thing to more than one kind of buyer. Spruce keeps several persona briefs live at once and picks per prospect. Linxa's model is closer to one service catalogue applied across the list.

Campaigns, corrected

We used to write that Linxa has no campaign structure and runs a continuous flow instead. That was wrong. Their Outreach plan at $39 sells multi-step AI outreach campaigns, with an outreach strategy and goal you can edit and prompts you can rewrite. Spruce has no campaign object at all. On the plans below Outreach, Linxa does not include those campaigns either.

Volume

Growth includes 200 new connections a month. Outreach adds another 200, so 400 in total, plus 200 to 400 new conversations. Spruce includes 800 a month on every plan. Neither figure changes what LinkedIn itself allows.

After the meeting is booked

Linxa stops at the conversation. Spruce carries on through the setting and closing layer, meaning the messages that turn a positive reply into a meeting somebody actually attends. A surprising share of pipeline leaks at exactly that point.

Maturity, honestly

Both products are young. Linxa is younger and less known, which cuts both ways: less proof to go on, but a team iterating fast. If you are evaluating both, ask each of us for live examples on your own list rather than trusting a comparison page, this one included.

Which to choose

If you sell one service to one kind of buyer and the booked meeting is your finish line, either product will serve you and price should decide. If you have several offers, several personas, and pipeline that leaks after the reply, we would say Spruce.

Price149€ per user per month on Essentiel, 124€ per month billed annually. 249€ Professionnel, 499€ Accompagnement.Free Inbox plan, Growth $19, Outreach $39. Those are promotional prices; the list prices struck through on their page are $7, $39 and $99. This is the closest product to ours on the market, and it does per-profile gating and generated follow-ups from $19 a month.

Linxa figures are taken from their public pricing page, at the promotional prices shown there. Linxa is the closest product to ours on the market, so trial both before deciding rather than trusting this table. If you are reading this more than a quarter after publication, check the figures yourself.

Where they are strong

  • Analyses every profile before a single invite goes out, matches it to the right service and ranks the queue. That is almost word for word the Spruce promise
  • Smart Inbox drafts the next message for every conversation, and surfaces missed replies and hot leads
  • Multi-step AI outreach campaigns on the Outreach plan, where the strategy, goal and message tone are all editable

Where they fall short

  • Matches to a service rather than to declared personas, and there is no multi-persona brief
  • The plan sets the connection volume: 200 a month on Growth, 400 on Outreach, and none at all on the free Inbox plan
  • Campaigns and the fuller outreach controls appear only on the top plan
  • The product is young and barely known
  • Once the meeting is booked there is no setting or closing layer

Our verdict

This is the one comparison where the honest answer is to try both. Linxa is solving the same problem in a similar way, campaigns included, since their Outreach plan runs multi-step AI campaigns while Spruce has no campaign object at all. Our bet is that persona-level matching and the post-reply layer are what separate a full calendar from a busy inbox. At $19 to $39 against 149€, theirs is the cheaper bet, and a fortnight on your own list will tell you more than this page can.

Frequently asked

Linxa is $19. Is Spruce worth eight times that?

Only if you need the volume, and only if you need what happens after the reply. Growth includes 200 new connections a month and Outreach 400, with the cap coming from the plan. Spruce includes 800 a month on every plan. If 200 invitations a month fills your pipeline, Linxa is enough, and it is far cheaper.

Worth noting: $19 and $39 are promotional prices, and their page shows $39 and $99 struck through.

How many invitations can each one send?

With Spruce, 800 a month, included on Essentiel, Professionnel and Accompagnement alike. With Linxa, 200 new connections a month on Growth at $19, 400 on Outreach at $39, and none at all on the free Inbox plan, which gives you the inbox and 200 smart follow-ups a month. Neither tool changes what LinkedIn itself allows. The 800 is what Spruce includes, not an allowance we obtained from LinkedIn.

Linxa's AI already qualifies, writes and runs campaigns. What is actually different?

Less than with any other tool on this site, and we would rather say so. Linxa gates profile by profile, generates replies and follow-ups, and on Outreach runs multi-step AI campaigns with an editable strategy, goal and tone.

The differences we can state plainly are volume, 800 a month against 200 or 400; pacing over the working hours you define, with public holidays skipped; the absence of any campaign object here; and what happens after the reply, since from Professionnel the Spruce AI sets the meeting through to the booking.

What does moving from Linxa to Spruce involve?

You declare your personas, your sequence and your working hours. If you built campaigns on their Outreach plan, they do not come across, because there is nothing here to import them into. Your LinkedIn account and existing conversations stay where they are, since they live on LinkedIn rather than in either tool. Set the two side by side for a fortnight before you cancel anything.

When is Linxa the better choice?

Often. If 200 or 400 new connections a month covers your needs, if you are one person rather than a team, or if the budget is the deciding factor, Linxa does a similar job for $19 to $39. This is the one comparison on this site where we would tell you to trial both and let the results decide, because we do not think a table settles it.
